Roll up, Italian designers and all graphic designers!
Zetafonts is promoting the first designer cup and the goal is to put creativity on the football field and score for your local team.
The font-development group is promoting a football poster tournament called ‘Coppa Stadio’.
The initiative is to celebrate the centenary of Italian type master Aldo Novarese's birth, creator of Stadio, a typeface developed in the 70s inspired by football.

Twenty of the best Italian graphic studios and digital illustrators are using their skills to play with letters, and create the best poster for the football team of their region.
The teams have been decided. Design companies such as All Fonts Are Bastards (Lazio), which also organized the tournament, Basiq Design (Friuli), Fra! Design (Calabria) and even some imaginary teams, like Studio 23.56 (Piemonte) are taking part in the cup.
All games will be played weekly and the field will be Zetafonts Instagram account. And you can vote on their stories!

On every Monday, until March 22, you’ll be able to score your vote on your favourite team and poster.
On Monday 15th , it is up to Zup Design (Umbria) x Mooggeene (Sardinia) and Giovanni Stillittano (Trentino) x Dopolavoro (Campania).
