The brand was born out of admiration for the unparalleled fashion sense of rock stars such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, or Phil Lynott. All known for their daring attitude towards the mainstream trends. However, it was the melange of classic rock with Ibiza’s nightlife and London’s suburban cultures that truly gave life to NOK NOK’s signature feel, making it stand out within the industry.
You no longer have to choose between being sleek or edgy, because NOK NOK offers a stylish compromise between both with their two latest drops: Craving For Love and Those Lost Days. Pieces include tie-dye patterns, radiant -yet bold- colours, and lots of denim, which they also reused in their sustainable fashion art project.

Sustainability is inexorable in this day and age, and all industries must adhere to certain standards sooner, rather than later, if they wish to thrive. We must commit to it ASAP, it’s more than a trend, it’s a necessity.
NOK NOK is well aware of this, and as such it prioritizes sustainability in its products, using organic cotton in the denim and chemical-free substances on designs. However, they go further than that in their efforts towards environmental awareness. NOK NOK is not afraid to take a risk and openly declare where it stands with regards to sustainability. And that would be standing on the right side of history.

The London-based brand decided to turn some of their deadstock denim into an art installation. You can find the upcycled denim from old NOK NOK collections as two panels of the fashion art piece in Shoreditch, London. This long-awaited marriage between fashion and contemporary art accompanied infused with sustainability, has a purpose: to raise awareness on environmental consciousness.
The collections designed for streetwear have found their way back to the streets. And what could be more sustainable than the circularity of that?
