Meet our recent obsession: Copenhagen-based experimental streetwear brand: HELIOT EMIL. Presented by brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul, this is a brand with a crystal ball sight of the future. Their premise is very clear; reinterpret simple pieces into innovative looks and create the signature HELOIT EMIL silhouettes. The style can be described as minimalistic, but they never fail to add the edge into every creation.

They say the devil is in detail. But in this case, the style is in the details. The blueprint of designs comes from an interest in abstract concepts. They then explore these ideas and find their muse. That inspiration is the creative force of HELIOT EMIL. Materials and fabrics are always custom-made to reflect the vision behind the designs.

The creative process starts with a curiosity, follower by experimentation with the garments, frequently blurring the lines between form and functionality. But this is only the tip of the iceberg, HELIOT EMIL also included artificial intelligence in the design process. The prints for their latest collection “Permanent Metamorphosis” were generated by using this exact method.
